Fly in JetStar from Kuala Lumpur KLIA to Singapore Changi Airport
I’ve been going to Singapore for work every single month since late 2007. I’ve travelled in Aeroline, First Coach, Malaysian Airlines (MAS) and AirAsia. This time I travelled in JetStar, another budget/low cost flight provider. JetStar originated from Australia.
What I liked about JetStar is that it departs from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) rather than the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). I don’t really prefer the LCCT, it looks more like a factory warehouse turned into an airport in a rush.
If I were to compare JetStar and AirAsia in terms of comfort and services, both are quite similar. The aeroplane seatings are 3 seats on the right and 3 seats on the left. Leg space is quite limited, so if the 2 people sitting from the window need to go to the washroom, at least 1 person have to get up to allow them to go out. Limited leg room is not an issue since the time spent sitting in the aeroplane is less than 1 hour.
Here are some photos taken before or during my flight to Singapore in JetStar.

Taking off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Everything that is green in this photo are palm oil plantations!

I have no idea where this is, it is so densely populated that there are hardly any trees left!

I can see land, sea, ships and suns reflection on water.. a nice view

I love the way the river has carved it's way through land

A few seconds before landing. A small green island is joined using reclaimed land

If pictures are nice, imagine watching the view from the aeroplane. Really nice.. if you travel daytime.
