Toa Payoh Town Park – A very nice and peaceful park in Toa Payoh, Singapore
Toa Payoh Town Park is just 5 minutes walk from the condominium I stay in Toa Payoh. I’ve passed by the park entrance many times but have never went inside the park. One day during lunch time, me and my office colleague Anson went out to buy lunch. We realized the weather was so cool and wonderful, maybe after the heavy rain in the morning that day.
While passing by the traffic light junction, we looked at the park entrance and then looked at each others face. We needed a break, so we walked into the park to have a look. Lunch will be later.
There were not many people in the park at that time, maybe less than 10 people around. The park was so quiet, with the cool weather and breeze, I had this wonderful feeling that I’m in a natural paradise.. that is when I ignore the tall buildings around the park. I really enjoyed the moment until sun started shining brightly.. that’s when we decided it’s time to go for lunch.
