Recently I went to Burger King at Suria KLCC to purchase potato fries and ice cream sundae. I made my order and paid for it. I was shocked when I received my chocolate ice cream sundae. It doesn’t look like the pictures that Burger King advertises in their outlets. The ice cream was not as full in the cup as it is shown in their pictures all over their outlet.

So I asked the person who took my order.. “Why isn’t the ice cream fully filled in the cup as shown in the pictures?” And then the guy replied, “That’s how it is given here.”. So I decided not to argue and took picture to compare it later.

The next day, I went to the same Burger King Suria KLCC outlet to buy the same potato fries and ice cream sundae. While queing to make orders, I started noticing other people who bought the same ice cream sundae. There was this poor guy taking 2 ice cream sundaes which has only half cup of ice cream each! That is worse than what I got the day before. Is Burger King Suria KLCC trying to save cost by giving less to customers who are paying the full price for their ice cream sundaes?? This is cheating consumers right in front of their eyes!

Guess what, the 2nd time I ordered, I got only half cup of chocolate ice cream sundae. I asked the guy who took the order and he said it is how they serve. I insisted him to give me another one similar to the pictures shown there, and he brought a new one.. which is only 3/4 of the cup.

I guess Burger King Suria KLCC staffs are instructed to give less to their customers at the same time collect full amount of $$$ for the food and beverage.

I still prefer McDonald’s chocolate ice cream sundae, which I always get full cup of it each and every time I have bought them in the past. Maybe I should try other Burger King outlets other than the one in Suria KLCC.
