I came.. I saw.. I blogged..
My favourite Chinese vegetarian food stall while staying in Toa Payoh, the best I’ve tasted in Singapore
I’ve always been very fussy when it comes to food. My mother had a very tough time making me eat food when I was a small kid. She would feed me and I would chew and chew and continue chewing.. eating a meal took me more than one hour!
Well, that was when I was a kid. Since I’m all grown up now, I’m a lot faster in eating. But still a little bit fussy about food when it comes to taste. Being brought up eating Indian food with all types of spices, my taste buds have accustomed to eating food which is rich in spices having various taste.
While being in Singapore since 2007, I’ve tried many vegetarian food outlets, mostly Chinese vegetarian food. None of their food makes me go there for more, I just eat for the sake of hunger. When I started staying in a condominium in Toa Payoh, I discovered that there are a few vegetarian stalls in Toa Payoh business hub area, in fact 3 of them in 3 different food courts.
My favourite food stall is located in Toa Payoh Central in Koufu food court.

Koufu food court is located at first floor, just take the escalator near FairPrice entrance which is in ground floor.
FairPrice and Koufu is located on the right side of this photo which is not visible here

Toa Payoh Central is always packed with people and activities the whole day. You can get nearly all of your daily needs items from around here.

This is the vegetarian stall where I buy my lunch and dinner. Nyam nyam..

You should try the food here if you stay nearby.. even my office colleague Anson have started eating the vegetarian food there..
