Everytime I go to Singapore, which is every month since 2007, I tend to try new food and drinks which I have not tried before. I get excited when I see something that I can’t get in Malaysia and have the tendency of buying and trying them.

I realize that Singapore has many more varieties of bread loafs than in Malaysia. One of it is milk bread loafs.

While in Singapore, I’ve tried 2 brands of milk bread loafs. They are:

Gardenia and Sunshine milk bread

Gardenia and Sunshine milk bread

Both the Sunshine and Gardenia milk bread tastes better than normal bread. They have a rich milky taste. Gardenia’s milk bread seems to be drier and the texture is rougher than Sunshine’s milk bread. Sunshine’s milk bread tastes richer, milkier and has finer texture than Gardenia’s milk bread.

My preference? I love Sunshine’s milk bread. They taste so good with peanut butter! I hope I can get milk bread in Malaysia but so far I have not come across any.  :(
