I came.. I saw.. I blogged..
I had dinner at Kuan Yin vegetarian restaurant in Section 17
I was first introduced to a Chinese vegetarian restaurant called “Kuan Yin Vegetarian Restaurant” in Section 17 at Petaling Jaya by my company’s previous boss more than a year ago. Since then I have visited this retaurant a few times and had some wonderful meals.
I will usually go with family and then order white rice for each person and then a few dishes of artificial vegetarian meats and vegetables. The restaurant have a lot of choice and cooking styles for dishes.

Depending on the type of dishes you choose, you may or may not like it. Different people have different preferences when it comes to food taste.
My preference usually leans towards hot and spicy or anything which has some strong taste. Anything plain, pale or soupy will just put me off.
During my previous dining at Kuan Yin, I chose a combination of some spicy dishes, sweet and sour dish and butter fried dish. They tasted so good.

Vegetarian dishes that I have ordered recently
This time, none of the dishes I ordered has anything spicy. Although I did not enjoy the food as much as the previous time, it was still good. Vegetarian shark fin soup didn’t taste too good this time, maybe because it has become cold after being left too long.

This restaurant serves chicken, fish, lamb, prawn, shark, etc. Nearly anything that you can find in a normal Chinese seafood restaurant in Malaysia can be found here, except that all these are vegetarian food made out of ingredient such as soya.
