Photoshop can be quite an expensive software for home users. But if you want layer based photo and image editing features like in Photoshop, you can get it free online. In fact, you don’t even have to install any software!

Yes, I’m referring to a free online image editor which looks like Photoshop. For most home users, it is a good replacement software for Photoshop. This free online image editor is called Pixlr Editor.

Pixlr Editor has most of the features you will need for photo or image editing. You can control layers, make adjustments like brightness, contrast, etc and also apply filter functions like blur, noise, diffuse, vignette, old photo and many more.

Pixlr Editor allows you to create a new image, open existing image from your computer or open image from an URL.

I tried opening Pixlr Editor in Google Chrome but somehow I can’t get the image to be displayed properly, so I tried in Internet Explorer without any problem.
